Halloween Contest Entry

Just to reiterate the rules:

Pick a horror movie, any horror movie.

Write a short piece of flash fiction, 500 words or less, that incorporate the title of your chosen flick. For example, if your movie is “The Bride of Frankenstein” the story must have the words the, bride, of, and Frankenstein each used at least once. So using “Hush Hush, Sweet Charlotte” the word hush would have to appear at least twice. Do not use the words of the movie title in the title of your story (other than the articles a, an, and the). Readers will then try to guess the film you used as the basis of the story.

Stories can be in any genre, horror is not required.

Post your story on your blog as a Friday Flash on October 28th, the Friday before Halloween. Be sure to include the story title, but NOT the movie title. And if you typically use an accompanying graphic please don’t use a photo from the film – it would give too much away.

The entry form is now closed. Please go to this page to vote or to guess at a movie title.

Here are the entries. This information is also located on the voting page.
